Sunderland boss Regis Le Bris has been speaking to the media before Saturday's Premier League game against Wolves at Molineux (15:00 BST). Wolves have had a "difficult season" but some good results recently at home and will be "generating momentum for next season". Jocelin Ta Bi "should be available this weekend".

After a humbling 5-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest last weekend, Sunderland manager Regis Le Bris is looking for a strong response as his side travels to Molineux to face Wolves on Saturday (15:00 BST). The Black Cats boss has been candid about the harsh lessons learned from that heavy loss, calling it "a warning about how demanding this league is."

"When you drop your standards slightly, you get punished," Le Bris admitted. "We all have a responsibility, and we have to push forward." With the team's defensive frailties exposed, he acknowledged that both a dip in performance and Forest's quality contributed to the result. "It's about small margins," he noted, as the squad works hard to tighten up at the back.

Turning to their opponents, Le Bris described Wolves' campaign as a "difficult season," but warned that recent strong home form means they'll be "generating momentum for next season." Saturday's clash promises to be a test of Sunderland's resilience as they aim to bounce back.

On the injury front, there's positive news for the Black Cats. Defender Jocelin Ta Bi "should be available this weekend," while wingers Nilson Angulo and Bertrand Traore are both "in a good place" and could feature. However, Le Bris cautioned against expecting too much too soon: "They haven't played for a long period, so we can't expect a huge impact straight away. Sometimes you have to wait, but it will help."

When asked about the team's European ambitions, the Sunderland boss struck a balanced tone. "The players are always ambitious, but we have to stay humble. If you start dreaming, maybe you can drop your standards." He pointed to the heavy defeats against two Europa League semi-finalists as a reality check. "The next challenge is to be competitive and win. We'll see what the three points mean in the table."

As for finishing above local rivals Newcastle, Le Bris kept his focus on the task at hand. "Every game is different. It's important for us to bounce back. You can't control the opponent. I expect different behaviours from the squad, and then we'll see."

For Sunderland fans, this weekend is about more than just points—it's a chance to prove their mettle and turn a tough lesson into a stepping stone. And for those gearing up for match day, there's no better time to show your colors with fresh gear from our latest collection.
