Pro Football Hall of Fame linebacker and New York Giants legend Lawrence Taylor remains hospitalized in New Jersey as of April 28, according to reports.
Taylor is receiving treatment for a "stomach-related issue," according to his lawyer, Mark Eiglarsh, who said in a statement to USA TODAY Sports, "At this time, the condition does not appear to be life-threatening."
The 67-year-old has been in the hospital since April 20, Eiglarsh told USA TODAY, adding that he is showing signs of improvement, though a discharge date has not yet been determined.

This comes just days after initial reports revealed that Taylor had been hospitalized. He reportedly arrived at the emergency room following a medical emergency and was shortly transferred to a different section of the facility, TMZ reported April 24.
His friend, attorney Arthur Aidala, told the Daily News on Friday that he was "dealing with some abdominal issues, but he's going to be fine.".
Taylor, who played for the Giants from 1981 to 1993, is considered by many the best defensive player in league history.
He is a two-time Super Bowl champion, nine-time All Pro and 10-time Pro Bowler. He was named the NFL MVP in 1986 and was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year three times.
As detailed by USA TODAY's Giants Wire, the iconic linebacker has faced various health struggles over the years, linked both to his career as well as personal battles with addiction.
Just weeks prior to his hospitalization, Taylor appeared "in good spirits" alongside former Giants defensive coordinator and New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick at the University of North Carolina, Giants Wire reported.
