LaMelo Ball, the electrifying Charlotte Hornets guard, and his partner, model Analicia Chaves—widely known as Ana Montana—have some life-changing news to share. The couple confirmed to People that they welcomed their first child together in January: a baby boy named LaOne.

But this heartwarming announcement comes with an even greater purpose. Alongside the birth of their son, Ball and Chaves are launching a nonprofit organization called I Am Fertility. According to a representative for the couple, the initiative is "dedicated to supporting women navigating fertility and IVF journeys."

In a joint Instagram post unveiling the nonprofit, Chaves poured out her emotions directly to little LaOne. "I love you more than any word could ever describe!" she wrote. "You're my purpose and you've helped me become the woman I was always destined to be!"

The organization is starting strong with a $10,000 grant program, which will award $5,000 each to two women to help cover the costs of IVF and fertility treatments. Chaves shared her personal motivation behind the cause: "At one point during my IVF journey, I felt overwhelmed, emotional, isolated and unsure where to turn. That experience inspired me to create I Am Fertility as a safe space where women don't have to face this journey alone."

Ball and Chaves have been linked since 2021 and began dating in 2023. Now, with their newborn son and a mission to uplift others, this power couple is making moves both on and off the court.
