The Ravens could give Lamar a star.

For years, the narrative around the Baltimore Ravens has been clear: Lamar Jackson needs more help. While he's got a future Hall of Fame running back in Derrick Henry and reliable targets like Mark Andrews and Zay Flowers, Jackson has never truly had that one dominant wide receiver—the kind that forces defenses to rethink their game plan before the snap.

That could finally change. In a recent prediction, the Ravens are being linked to veteran wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who spent last season with the New England Patriots after stints with the Buffalo Bills, Minnesota Vikings, and Houston Texans. Diggs may not be the same player who dominated in Buffalo, but he still led the AFC-champion Patriots in catches and receiving yards last year—proof that the 31-year-old has plenty left in the tank.

USA TODAY's Tyler Dragon made the case: "Wide receivers Ja'Kobi Lane and Elijah Sarratt were good mid-round draft picks, but the Ravens don't have a wideout that opponents have to seriously game-plan for outside of Zay Flowers. Diggs led the AFC-champion Patriots in catches and receiving yards, a sign the mercurial receiver still has juice left in the tank. It's best if Diggs plays with an established QB on a contending team."

Diggs fits a familiar Ravens mold—a veteran with something to prove. Baltimore has shown a willingness to give older, productive players a chance, and Diggs could be the perfect addition to a roster that's just a piece or two away from a deep playoff run. Pairing him with Jackson, a two-time MVP, could give the Ravens the dynamic passing attack they've been searching for.
