Los Angeles Lakers legend Michael Cooper is embarking on a meaningful new chapter, officially introduced Wednesday as the head coach of the Cal State L.A. men's basketball team. Cooper, who played in the NBA Summer Pro League at Cal State L.A. in the late 1970s, now aims to bring his championship pedigree to the Golden Eagles' program. His mission is clear: restore the team to its title-winning form, a feat it achieved just two seasons ago.
