The Rams are back on CBS LA. Here's what that means for broadcast coverage for Los Angeles fans.

The Los Angeles Rams are officially heading back to CBS LA, and for fans across Southern California, that means more football coverage than ever before. In a move that signals a major win for local sports broadcasting, the Rams and CBS Los Angeles have announced a multi‑year partnership that will bring exclusive preseason games, year‑round programming, and original content directly to Angelenos starting with the 2026 NFL season.

This reunion rekindles a relationship that first ignited in 2016, when the Rams returned to LA from St. Louis. Now, with nearly 90 hours of news and sports programming each week, CBS LA is poised to deliver the most comprehensive Rams coverage in the market. “This partnership is about serving fans, celebrating Los Angeles, and extending our shared commitment to the community,” said Tim Wieland, regional president and general manager of CBS LA and CBS Colorado. “We’re proud to once again be the Home of the Rams.”

What does this mean for fans? For starters, local broadcasts of Rams preseason games will be exclusive to CBS LA, giving viewers a front‑row seat to the team’s preparation. But the deal goes far beyond game day. Expect a weekly coaches show featuring head coach Sean McVay, plus exclusive Rams content available across CBS LA platforms year‑round. It’s a deep dive into the team that promises to bring fans closer to the action, the strategy, and the personalities that define the Rams.

“CBS LA partnered with us in 2016 when we returned to Los Angeles and helped reintroduce our organization to this city,” said Rams president Kevin Demoff. “We are thrilled to once again team up with CBS LA to bring fans closer to Rams football through our preseason games and exclusive content year‑round. This partnership will enable us to deepen our connection with Angelenos through CBS’s dynamic programming as well as shared efforts that will make an impact on the community we all call home.”

As the NFL calendar heats up, the Rams are gearing up for an exciting season ahead. Preseason action begins August 6, with the regular season kicking off September 9. The Rams will open their campaign internationally, facing the San Francisco 49ers in Melbourne, Australia, on September 10. With CBS LA back in the fold, Los Angeles fans have even more reason to gear up, tune in, and show their team pride.
