An update on the wellbeing of Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has come to the fore online.

This comes after the Frenchman set alarm bells sounding in Spain’s capital on Friday.

Real Madrid were of course back in action yesterday evening, making the trip to Seville for a La Liga meeting with Real Betis.

The aforementioned Kylian Mbappé featured from the off in the matchup, from his customary berth up top.

En route to a disappointing 1-1 draw for Los Blancos, however, the former Paris Saint-Germain standout was forced into a premature departure from proceedings late on.

And as alluded to above, a day on, an update on Mbappé’s situation has surfaced in the Spanish media.

The info comes courtesy of Real Madrid insider Sergio Quirante of DAZN, who reports that:

‘Mbappé underwent an ultrasound this morning to assess the severity of the discomfort in his left hamstring. The result came back good, but he will still undergo another check on Monday with an MRI.’
