Kristoffer Reitan has rocketed up the PGA Tour money list after his stunning victory at the Truist Championship on May 10, jumping an incredible 46 spots to land at No. 8 in earnings. The Norwegian, now the second PGA Tour winner ever from his country, has surpassed $5 million in season earnings—a remarkable feat for a player who was sitting at 54th just a week ago.
Reitan's first PGA Tour title came at the prestigious Quail Hollow Club, a venue that has launched the careers of golf greats like Rory McIlroy (2010), Wyndham Clark (2019), and Rickie Fowler (2012). With the PGA Championship teeing off this week at Aronomink Golf Club, all eyes will be on Reitan to see if he can carry that momentum. If he plays anywhere near the level he showed last year at the same venue, he could be a serious contender for the Wanamaker Trophy.
The Truist Championship also sparked major moves up the money list for Rickie Fowler and Nicolai Højgaard, who tied for second place just two shots behind Reitan. Fowler vaulted from 30th to 15th, while Højgaard jumped from 27th to 13th—each earning a hefty $1.76 million payday for their efforts.
Cameron Young continues to lead the money list, sitting more than $1.2 million ahead of Matt Fitzpatrick. Young was in contention at the Truist until a final-round 74 dropped him into a tie for 10th, but his overall season dominance remains unchallenged.
With 71 players now earning $1 million or more on Tour this season, the competition is fiercer than ever. For context, at this same point last year—just before the PGA Championship—there were 77 million-dollar earners. The narrowing gap signals just how deep the talent pool is this season.
