Liverpool faced off against Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a win on the road in the Merseyside derby. The Reds made a decent start to the game and scored the opener in the 29th minute when Mohamed Salah got his name on the scoresheet with a good finish. Arne Slot’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Beto equalised for the Toffees in the 54th minute before Virgil Van Dijk scored the winning goal for Liverpool in injury time. The match ended with the Reds earning a last-gasp 2-1 in the Merseyside derby.
