Rising basketball prospect Kingston Flemings isn't shy about his NBA aspirations—and he's got a clear vision of the player he wants to become. In a recent interview, the talented guard drew comparisons to two of the league's most explosive floor generals: Tyrese Maxey and De'Aaron Fox.

Flemings explained that he models his game after these dynamic guards because of their blistering pace and attacking style. "They play really fast. They're not huge guards. They get downhill. They're really physical and they're getting to the rim," he said, breaking down the similarities.

The young star also shared valuable advice he received from his coach, Sam, about staying authentic on the court. "He had a talk with me during the year that I was trying to be Allen Iverson. Don't be Allen Iverson, be Kingston Flemings," Flemings recalled. "Really just being myself and if myself is going to be good enough for a team and when that team drafts me, I'm going to show them who I am."

Flemings recognizes that following the path of his NBA idols means putting in the work. He specifically pointed to Maxey's development as a blueprint for his own growth. "Tyrese Maxey is a strong guy, but like him in college, he didn't shoot a lot of threes, but when he got to the NBA, he really expanded his game. And that's me. I think every single year I'm in the NBA, I'm going to be better and better."

With a focus on adding strength and refining his game, Flemings is positioning himself as a versatile guard ready to make an impact at the next level. For fans and scouts watching his journey, the message is clear: stay tuned—this is just the beginning.
