At UFC 328, Chimaev came up short in a razor-thin split decision against former champion Sean Strickland, who reclaimed the 185-pound belt. Last month, Chimaev signed with Real America Freestyle (RAF), leaving fans guessing when he'd make his debut. Now we have a date.
On Tuesday, RAF announced that Chimaev will face Dillon Danis in the main event of RAF 10 on June 13th at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis. Danis, known for his brash persona and grappling pedigree, made his own RAF debut in March—a losing effort against former UFC interim welterweight champion Colby Covington at RAF 07.
