The Houston Rockets are at home on Friday night as they host the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 3 of their first-round playoff series.

For the Rockets, they enter Friday’s game trailing 0-2 in the series after losing on the road to the Lakers in Game 2 on Tuesday night.

Now Houston will try to use home court to their advantage on Friday as they try to pick up a key victory over the Lakers to avoid falling into an 0-3 hole in the series.

While the Rockets are looking to pick up a victory in Game 3 at home on Friday night, they may be without one of their star players due to injury.

For the Rockets, they have three players listed on their injury report for Friday’s game, including star forward Kevin Durant.

Houston has listed Durant as questionable due to a left ankle sprain and he is also still dealing with a right knee contusion that caused him to miss Game 1.

If Durant is sidelined for Game 3, Reed Sheppard and Josh Okogie could both be in line for increased roles while the Rockets will likely rely on Alperen Sengun and Amen Thompson to carry the load offensively.

The Rockets have ruled out Fred VanVleet as he continues to recover from a torn ACL while Steven Adams will miss the remainder of the season while recovering from ankle surgery.
