Former Colts' CB Kenny Moore shared a farewell message following his release from the team.

After seven seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, cornerback Kenny Moore has officially said his goodbyes. The veteran defensive back took to Instagram to share a heartfelt farewell message following his release from the team—a move that came after a requested trade didn't materialize.

"The moment I realized I wouldn't be putting on the horseshoe again, it was a lot to comprehend," Moore wrote. "Something I had to mentally fight myself about before I knew it was time to talk about it."

Moore's message was a tribute to the entire Colts organization, from ownership to the fans who supported him through the highs and lows of his career. He thanked the Irsay family for their leadership and the Lucas family for their unwavering support. To his teammates, he offered a special note: "Man, I love y'all more than you understand. The camaraderie of the game is my favorite part, hands down. Outside of getting a W together, my favorite memories are the ones where we couldn't stop laughing."

For Colts Nation, Moore had nothing but gratitude. "The support was real. The support was felt. You appreciated the player I was, but you respected me as a person first. You saw my heart through the community. I can't say thank you enough for embracing not just me but my family as well!"

The 28-year-old cornerback requested a trade before the NFL draft, but when the Colts couldn't find a suitable deal, they released him. Now, Moore becomes an intriguing free agent option for teams looking to add veteran depth in the secondary before training camp kicks off.

General manager Chris Ballard acknowledged the tough decision. "I had a talk with Kenny," Ballard said. "Think very highly of him." And as Moore's farewell reminds us, sometimes the best endings aren't goodbyes—they're "see you later."
