In a thrilling UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg at the Allianz Arena, Bayern Munich fought hard but ultimately fell short, drawing 1-1 with Paris Saint-Germain. The result meant PSG advanced to the final with a 6-5 aggregate victory, setting up a showdown with Arsenal at the Puskas Arena on May 30.

The match got off to a blistering start, with PSG striking just three minutes in. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia delivered a precise low cross into the box, and Ousmane Dembele was on hand to thunder the ball into the net, giving the visitors an early lead that silenced the home crowd.

Bayern responded with determination, nearly finding an equalizer in the 27th minute. Harry Kane played a clever ball to Michael Olise, whose curling effort whistled just past the top corner. The Bavarians thought they had a penalty shortly after the half-hour mark when Vitinha's clearance struck Joao Neves' hand, but the referee deemed the arm to be in a natural position, waving play on.

From there, the match swung end-to-end. Neves tested Manuel Neuer with a powerful header, but the legendary German goalkeeper was equal to it, tipping the ball behind. Bayern finished the first half in commanding fashion, with Jamal Musiala forcing two sharp saves from Matvey Safonov in quick succession, while Jonathan Tah sent a free header wide when he should have done better.

The second half saw Neuer continue his heroics, pushing away Desire Doue's effort at the near post before stretching his leg to deny Kvaratskhelia. In the 63rd minute, the 38-year-old produced another brilliant stop, diving to keep out Doue's attempt to double PSG's lead. At the other end, Diaz and Olise both tested Safonov as Bayern pushed relentlessly for the equalizer.

Kvaratskhelia had a golden chance to seal the victory when he broke through on goal, but he couldn't make clean contact, allowing Min-Jae Kim to clear the danger. Finally, in stoppage time, Kane leveled the scores with a clinical finish, but it was too little, too late for Bayern to complete a remarkable turnaround. The hosts exited the competition with heads held high, while PSG marched on to the final.
