What a final day of Bundesliga action! Bayern Munich capped off their 35th German title celebration in style, with Harry Kane stealing the show by netting a stunning hat-trick in a 5-1 victory over Cologne. The England forward showcased his class with an elegant volley and a direct free-kick in the first half, before completing his fourth hat-trick of the season. Kane finishes as the league's top scorer with an incredible 36 goals—a fitting end to a remarkable campaign.

But while Bayern were partying, there was heartbreak elsewhere. St. Pauli and Heidenheim both saw their top-flight dreams crumble on a tense, action-packed matchday. At the bottom of the table, a three-way battle for survival came down to the wire, with Wolfsburg emerging victorious in a dramatic showdown against St. Pauli. The 3-1 win secured Wolfsburg the relegation play-off spot in 16th place, keeping their Bundesliga hopes alive.

The game itself was a rollercoaster. St. Pauli goalkeeper Nikola Vasilj made some brilliant saves early on to keep Wolfsburg at bay, but Konstantinos Koulierakis broke the deadlock with a powerful header from a corner. After the break, substitute Abdoulie Ceesay gave St. Pauli a glimmer of hope with a header of his own in the 57th minute. But controversy struck when Vasilj was adjudged to have deflected the ball into his own net from a corner, despite claiming he was pushed. A nail-biting VAR check confirmed the goal, and tempers flared.

Christian Eriksen then missed a penalty for Wolfsburg with 15 minutes to go, but Dezan Pejcinovic made no mistake moments later, slotting home a cool finish to seal St. Pauli's fate. After two years in the Bundesliga, St. Pauli will return to the second tier, while Wolfsburg face a play-off against one of Hannover, Elversberg, or Paderborn later this month.

Heidenheim's three-year stint in the top flight also came to an end, as their hopes of a dramatic last-day escape were dashed by a 2-0 loss to Mainz. Philipp Tietz headed Mainz in front early on before setting up Nadiem Amiri for the second just before half-time, leaving Heidenheim with no way back.

On a brighter note, Stuttgart secured Champions League qualification with a hard-fought 2-2 draw at Eintracht Frankfurt. Goals from Chema and Nikolas Nartey put them in control, and while Jonathan Burkardt scored twice to level the game, it was an inconsequential point that still sealed Stuttgart's place among Europe's elite next season.
