Auburn women's basketball just received a major boost for the 2026-2027 season. Redshirt junior guard Kaitlyn Duhon has officially announced her return to the Plains, setting the stage for a pivotal final year of eligibility.

Duhon, who will enter her fifth season as a redshirt senior, is coming off a standout campaign where she started every game. She solidified herself as a key two-way player, finishing as the team's second-leading scorer with an average of 10.0 points per game. Her impact, however, stretched far beyond scoring, as she also contributed 4.5 rebounds and a disruptive 3.2 steals per contest.

Her resilience and skill were on full display this past season, particularly in a signature performance against Texas A&M on February 15th. In that game, Duhon erupted for 23 points, grabbed six rebounds, and swiped four steals, showcasing the kind of all-around effort that makes her a cornerstone for the Tigers.

This return marks an inspiring comeback story. Duhon redshirted the 2024-2025 season after sustaining an injury against Kansas, limiting her to just eight games. Now fully healthy, her decision to use her final year of eligibility provides veteran leadership and proven production for head coach Larry Vickers. As the 5-foot-10 guard suits up for one last run, her experience will be invaluable in the continued rebuild of the Auburn program, offering fans plenty of excitement for what's to come.
