An offer from Duke highlights a recent boon of recruiting interest for Wisconsin Lutheran rising senior Kager Knueppel.

Wisconsin Lutheran’s Kager Knueppel is turning heads on the recruiting trail, and the buzz is only getting louder as he gears up for his senior season. The 6-foot-10 guard—who already has an offer from Duke, the same program where his brother Kon went one-and-done before being selected fourth overall in the NBA Draft—is seeing his stock soar.

Knueppel’s recent standout performance at the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) in Atlanta has sparked a wave of interest from top-tier programs. Playing alongside fellow Wisconsin standouts for Team Herro, he shot an impressive 46.7% from the field over three games. Highlights included a scorching 5-of-7 from beyond the arc, finishing with 17 points in a 71-58 win over PSA Cardinals (NY), and a 6-of-12 showing from deep with 20 points in a 75-67 victory against Team Why Not (CA).

“Everything picked up after the Atlanta EYBL Session 1. Lots of phone calls and texts,” Knueppel shared. With his combination of size, shooting range, and playmaking ability, it’s no surprise that college coaches are lining up. As he prepares for his final high school season, all eyes will be on this versatile guard to see where his next chapter takes him.
