"I was really hoping they would pick me, and I’m so happy it came true," Kage Casey said after being drafted by the Broncos.

Kage Casey couldn't have scripted a better draft day. The offensive lineman from Boise State was selected by the Denver Broncos in the fourth round (111th overall) of the 2026 NFL Draft, and he made no secret of his excitement about landing with his dream team.

"I was really hoping they would pick me, and I'm so happy it came true," Casey said during a conference call with Denver media. "It's so surreal. Same color scheme, same everything. I'm so excited."

The Broncos have a history of finding gems from Boise State. The last time Denver drafted a tackle from the school, they landed Ryan Clady, a dominant blindside protector who became a cornerstone of the franchise. Casey hopes to follow in those footsteps, and he's already drawn comparisons to the former Bronco legend.

For Casey, the fit goes beyond just the uniform. Growing up in Boise, Denver felt like a natural home. "It's basically a rock's throw away from where I lived," he said. "I'm so excited for this new environment, a new coaching staff, a new team. I'm just so excited to be part of the Broncos again."

Casey isn't alone in his enthusiasm. The Broncos have become a hot destination for draft prospects this year, and it's easy to see why. Coming off an AFC West championship and sitting just one win away from a Super Bowl appearance, Denver has built a complete roster on both sides of the ball. Add in state-of-the-art facilities, strong ownership, and a winning culture, and it's no surprise players are eager to call Mile High home.

For fans, Casey represents more than just a draft pick—he's a symbol of the Broncos' rising stature in the league. Whether he becomes the next Clady or carves his own path, one thing is clear: Kage Casey is exactly where he wants to be.
