Italian giants Juventus have placed a €25 million price tag on defender Federico Gatti, sparking a potential transfer battle with several Premier League clubs ahead of the summer window.

The 27-year-old center-back, who joined the Bianconeri from Frosinone in 2022 for just €9 million, has emerged as a key asset in Juventus' plans to fund a major squad overhaul. With his minimal salary impact on the books, any sale would represent pure profit—a crucial factor as the club looks to generate capital gains and reinvest in new talent.

Reports from Tuttosport via Calcio Mercato suggest that Juventus CEO Damien Comolli has set a valuation between €20-25 million for the Italian international. This price point is strategically designed to attract interest from abroad, particularly from the Premier League, where clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool, and Aston Villa are actively seeking defensive reinforcements.

Gatti's journey to this point has been anything but straightforward. Despite interest from Napoli and AC Milan last summer, neither Serie A rival was willing to meet Juventus' asking price. Now, with Italy manager Luciano Spalletti indicating a reduced role for the Rivoli-born defender, Gatti appears ready to seek a new challenge.

The timing couldn't be better for interested clubs. As the European season winds down, teams competing for Champions League spots and other continental berths are already planning their summer business—and a proven, physical center-back with Serie A experience fits the profile many are seeking.

Interestingly, Juventus previously rejected an offer from West Ham for Gatti, suggesting the club is holding out for the right deal. With his stock rising and Premier League interest intensifying, this could be the summer Gatti finally makes his move to English football.
