However, according to Fabrizio Romano (via SOSFanta), neither club has taken a decisive step toward securing the Polish striker's signature.

Juventus, in particular, are hesitant. The Bianconeri view Lewandowski's wage demands as too steep for their current financial playbook. They're in a holding pattern up front, waiting to clarify the futures of Dusan Vlahovic and Jonathan David before making any big moves.

Milan, on the other hand, appear slightly more open to the idea. The Rossoneri haven't outright rejected the financial terms, but internal division is the main obstacle. Not every member of the front office is convinced that bringing in the 36-year-old is the right move, leaving the deal in a state of limbo.

Lewandowski's situation at Barcelona adds another layer of intrigue. The Catalan giants have offered him a renewal—but at a reduced salary. Meanwhile, lucrative proposals from MLS and Saudi Arabia are on the table, with the Middle Eastern league reportedly dangling the largest contract.

Zahavi didn't stop there. He also informed both Italian clubs that David Alaba is likely to leave Real Madrid as his contract winds down. The Austrian defender has managed just 14 appearances this season due to calf injuries and stiff competition, all while earning a hefty €10 million net annually.

Milan got lucky with Luka Modric last summer, convincing the veteran to accept a modest deal due to his affection for the club. But lightning rarely strikes twice. Given that both Juventus and Milan have struggled offensively this season, and top-tier strikers don't come cheap, a short-term sacrifice—if the price isn't exorbitant—might be worth considering.
