Big things are brewing in the transfer market, and two European giants are reportedly set to sit down for a crucial meeting. Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain are preparing to open talks over a potential deal for striker Randal Kolo Muani—and there's even talk of a swap deal that could shake things up.
Currently on loan at Tottenham Hotspur, the 27-year-old French international hasn't exactly settled in North London, and he's not expected to stay beyond his current spell. Come summer, Kolo Muani will head back to Paris, where his contract runs until June 2028. But despite being under contract, he remains out of Luis Enrique's plans at PSG.
Fortunately for the striker, he still has plenty of admirers across Europe. Chief among them is Juventus, where Kolo Muani enjoyed a productive loan stint from January to June 2025. The Bianconeri were eager to make the move permanent last summer but couldn't reach an agreement with PSG, eventually signing Lois Openda on deadline day instead.
Fast forward to January, and the two clubs were ready to strike a deal again—until Tottenham refused to release the striker mid-loan. Now, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, both Juventus and PSG are keen to reopen discussions and have scheduled a meeting in the coming days or weeks.
The reported asking price? Around €40 million, a figure based on Kolo Muani's book value. That's a significant drop from the €90 million PSG paid to Eintracht Frankfurt back in the summer of 2023, reflecting how his stock has shifted since then.
But here's where it gets interesting: the negotiations could lead to a swap deal. Gazzetta notes that PSG's top director, Luis Campos, is a known admirer of Jonathan David—the same player Campos brought to France during his time at Lille. David joined Juventus on a free transfer last summer but has struggled to make a strong impression in his first season in Turin.
While previous reports suggested manager Luciano Spalletti would be open to keeping the Canadian as an extra attacking option, the club's priority appears to be offloading Lois Openda, who is completely out of the manager's plans. So, while a swap involving David is possible, it's not necessarily the path Juventus wants to take.
As these two European powerhouses prepare to meet, all eyes will be on whether Kolo Muani finally gets his permanent move to Turin—and if a surprise swap deal shakes up the summer market.
