Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo is getting fed up with the almost constant speculation surrounding a potential move for Julian Alvarez.

Barcelona have been heavily linked with the Argentina international, while Diego Simeone has claimed that Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested.

Cerezo was asked again about Alvarez ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League semi-final against Arsenal and had the following to say:

“Julián is an Atlético Madrid player. He is today, he will be tomorrow and next season. Insisting on this again seems to me, really, hurtful,” he told reporters.

Reports have claimed that Alvarez does favor a move to Barcelona if he does opt for a new challenge in the summer, although Atletico don’t want to sell and will demand a huge fee.

Barcelona are therefore also being linked with other targets. Recent reports have claimed that Joao Pedro and Lautaro Martinez are also on the club’s radar as potential alternatives to Alvarez.
