NEW YORK — Aaron Judge continues to make history, launching his major league-leading 14th home run of the season to spark the Yankees to a dominant 12-1 victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Monday, completing a four-game sweep and extending New York's hot streak to 14 wins in their last 16 games.

The Yankees captain wasted no time, crushing a hanging knuckle-curve from Shane Baz on a full count into the right-center bullpen in the first inning for a 2-0 lead. Judge added a two-run single in a six-run eighth inning off Lou Trivino, who was making his Orioles debut, finishing with four RBIs on the night.

Judge's first-inning blast was his sixth of the season, the most in the majors, and his 91st career first-inning home run — trailing only Yankees legends Babe Ruth (126) and Mickey Mantle (103). The homer also marked his 53rd in 124 career games against Baltimore.

Cody Bellinger chipped in with three RBIs, including a two-run triple off Trivino, as the American League-best Yankees improved to 24-11, a season-high 13 games over .500, outscoring the Orioles 39-10 in the series.

Baltimore (15-20) dropped its fifth straight game, falling a season-worst five games under .500. Adley Rutschman made the final out, going just 1 for 17 in the series.

On the mound, Cam Schlittler (5-1) earned his third consecutive win, allowing one run on seven hits over 5 2/3 innings. He forced in a run with a bases-loaded walk to Colton Cowser in the sixth. Schlittler threw 21 pitches at 100 mph or faster — 15 more than his total in 21 previous big league starts.

Baz gave up six runs (five earned) in 5 2/3 innings for Baltimore. Infielder/outfielder Weston Wilson took the mound to get the final out of the eighth inning.

Looking Ahead:

Orioles: RHP Chris Bassitt (2-2, 5.46 ERA) starts Tuesday at Miami against RHP Sandy Alcantara (3-2, 3.04).

Yankees: RHP Elmer Rodríguez (0-1, 4.50) makes his second big league start, facing Texas RHP Jacob deGrom (2-1, 2.01).
