Jordyn Tyson was the New Orleans Saints' No. 8 overall selection this time around, as the team adds a high-end playmaker with their top pick. Pairing him up with Chris Olave for at least 2026, and hopefully beyond if he signs an extension, is a great sign for the offense as they head into their new era led by Kellen Moore. Tyson has immense upside as a player and could end up being the WR1 this roster long-term, giving Olave a running mate who can take some weight off of his shoulders.
Immediately after being drafted, Tyson went to speak with New Orleans media, and one of the first things he had to say was praise for Olave, stating that it's "going to get ugly" for opposing defenses with the two of them on the field. The two receivers crossed paths during Tyson's pre-draft visit to the team headquarters in Metairie, and he's amped up to get to work.

Hearing such a high regard for Olave by the young prospect is a great sign already, and hopefully, over the course of the 2026 campaign, they will be able to build a good rapport together. If so, the two of them alongside Devaughn Vele and Juwan Johnson make for a scary receiving corps, and give Tyler Shough something really special to throw to in the early years of his career.
