Jordan Spieth enters the PGA Championship with a chance of winning the Career Grand Slam. If he won at Aronimink, it would be at the 10th time of asking, but becoming the seventh man to win all four major championships isn’t the only thing that’s on Spieth’s mind ahead of this year’s event.

As Jordan Spieth prepares to tee off at the PGA Championship, he's chasing more than just the Career Grand Slam. While becoming the seventh man in history to win all four major championships would be a monumental achievement, the 32-year-old has his sights set on another remarkable milestone—one currently held by Adam Scott.

Entering what will be his 53rd major championship and 51st consecutive start, Spieth took a moment to acknowledge the incredible longevity of the 2013 Masters champion. When Scott steps onto the course at Aronimink, he'll be playing in his 99th straight major, a streak second only to the legendary Jack Nicklaus. It's a testament to consistency, durability, and sustained excellence that Spieth finds truly inspiring.

"It's not only maintaining your health but maintaining that level of play," Spieth said ahead of the tournament. "What a testament to being healthy, doing things the right way, and being that good for that long. The health is probably the hardest part because some of the best players to ever play the game didn't make that list due to injury. It's amazing. It's something I'd love to challenge him on someday."

At 45, Scott shows no signs of slowing down, but even if this were his final major, it would take years for Spieth to catch up. With this PGA Championship marking his 52nd consecutive major start, Spieth would need to play every major until the 2037 PGA Championship to reach the century mark. Given his injury history over the past decade, it's a tall order—but one that speaks to the respect he has for Scott's enduring greatness.
