Scotland clinched the T20 series against Namibia with a game to spare, powered by a sensational bowling performance from young seamer Mackenzie Jones. The 21-year-old Essex paceman was the star of the show, claiming four wickets for just 22 runs in his four overs to dismantle the Namibian chase.

Batting first after losing the toss, Scotland posted a competitive 157-8. While no batter dominated, valuable contributions from Brandon McMullen (27), debutant Owen Gould (24), and an unbeaten 32 from Jack Jarvis ensured a fighting total on the board.

In reply, Namibia's innings never found its rhythm. Jones struck crucial blows, removing key batters Jan Frylinck and Nicol Loftie-Eaton early. He was brilliantly supported by left-arm spinner Olly Davidson, whose four overs of tight spin yielded just 14 runs and a wicket. Despite a fighting 47 from captain Gerhard Erasmus, his dismissal to a Jones bouncer effectively ended the contest, with Namibia falling well short.

This victory gives Scotland an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series, a significant confidence boost as they continue to build towards major global tournaments. The final match on Saturday now becomes a chance to secure a clean sweep and further momentum.
