Jonathan Lucroy is stirring up old memories with a bombshell revelation about his 2016 trade from the Milwaukee Brewers—and it's taking the baseball world by storm.

Speaking on the To The Majors podcast alongside former big-leaguers Kevin Pillar and Cody Allen, the two-time All-Star catcher detailed a bizarre and frustrating experience at that year's trade deadline. Back in 2016, Lucroy was in the midst of another stellar season for a Brewers team destined for a 73-89 finish. As a prime trade asset, he held an 18-team no-trade clause in his contract—a detail that would become central to the drama.
