Most Valuable Promotions is pulling out all the stops for its first-ever mixed martial arts event.

Most Valuable Promotions is going all-in for its historic debut in mixed martial arts, and the star power doesn't stop at the fighters. MVP and Netflix have announced a stacked broadcast team for Saturday's "Rousey vs. Carano" event at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, headlined by two legendary names in the sport.

Jon Jones and Cain Velasquez are set to join the broadcast in guest commentary and analysis roles, adding serious weight to an already massive card. For Jones, the former two-division UFC champion, this marks a rare public appearance since his last fight—a heavyweight title defense against Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 in November 2024. "Bones" recently requested his release from the UFC after being left off the White House card on June 14, and while his fighting future remains uncertain, he hasn't fully closed the door on retirement.

Velasquez, a former UFC heavyweight champion and one of the most feared fighters of his era, will also be on hand for Friday's weigh-in coverage. The two-time titleholder recently completed an 11-month prison sentence after pleading no contest to attempted murder, felony assault, and gun charges related to a 2022 incident where he fired at a truck containing Harry Goularte—a man accused of molesting Velasquez's son. Though he hasn't fought since 2019, Velasquez remains a revered figure in the heavyweight division.

The full broadcast team is a who's-who of MMA media. Mauro Ranallo will handle play-by-play duties, with UFC veteran Kenny Florian providing color commentary. Sibley Scoles steps in as the reporter, while the desk features Ariel Helwani, former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, and Netflix lead anchor Elle Duncan. Cat Zingano is also expected to join for guest analysis.

The main event is a five-round featherweight showdown between Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano, a bout that feels like a time capsule from the sport's early mainstream days. The co-main event pits Nate Diaz against Mike Perry at welterweight, with Francis Ngannou facing Philipe Lins in a heavyweight clash that could have major implications. The main card airs live on Netflix at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT, with prelims streaming on the MVP YouTube channel and Netflix's Tudum starting at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.

For fans of the fight game, this is a night that blends nostalgia with fresh energy—and the broadcast team is ready to deliver every moment.
