Former Tennessee quarterback Joey Aguilar was not selected in the NFL draft following his one season with the Vols in 2025. After the NFL draft, he signed as an undrafted free agent with Jacksonville.
Aguilar's jersey number is listed as No. 17 on Jacksonville's roster. He is also listed as 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds.
Aguilar completed 272-of-404 passing attempts for 3,565 yards, 24 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 13 games during his only season with the Vols.
He finished behind two SEC quarterbacks for passing yards during the 2025 season: Trinidad Chambliss of Ole Miss (3,937 yards, 15 games) and Ty Simpson of Alabama (3,567 yards, 15 games).
Throughout the year, ESPN updates depth charts for NFL teams.
"ESPN's NFL depth charts for the 2026 season are updated throughout the year with the latest news, updates and intel from across the league," according to ESPN.
ESPN projects Aguilar as the Jaguars' fourth quarterback on their depth chart.
Trevor Lawrence is listed as Jacksonville's starting quarterback, followed by Nick Mullens as a backup and Carter Bradley as third string.
