The Jets have made another tweak to their roster in the wake of their rookie minicamp.

The New York Jets are making moves. Fresh off their rookie minicamp, the team has signed linebacker Jaden Keller, parting ways with Ochaun Mathis in a corresponding roster adjustment.

Keller, who impressed during the minicamp as a tryout player, was one of 31 undrafted free agents vying for a spot. A Virginia Tech product, he brings four years of college experience to the table, having appeared in 52 games for the Hokies. Over that span, Keller racked up 181 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries—a solid foundation for a player looking to make his mark in the pros.

Meanwhile, Ochaun Mathis, a sixth-round pick by the Rams in 2023, has been waived. Mathis spent time with the Rams, Patriots, and Eagles over the 2023 and 2024 seasons, playing in 14 games before finishing last season on the Jets' practice squad. His departure opens the door for Keller to compete for a depth role as the team continues to fine-tune its roster ahead of training camp.

For Jets fans, this is a classic roster shuffle—a chance to see if a tryout standout can translate college production into NFL potential. Keep an eye on Keller as he dons the green and white, looking to prove he belongs.
