In an offseason in which the Green Bay Packers have bid farewell to two of their key wide receivers, they have now taken care of another.

Jayden Reed and the team agreed to a three-year, $50.25 million contract extension with the team on Friday, April 24, according to multiple reports.

Reed played in just seven games last season due to a fractured collarbone suffered in Week 2. He finished the campaign with just 19 catches for 207 yards and one touchdown.

In each of his first two seasons, however, Reed led a deep Green Bay pass-catching crew in receiving yards.

Reed should return to playing a central role for the Packers' aerial attack in 2026 after the team reshuffled its outlook at wideout. Romeo Doubs signed with the Tennessee Titans in free agency, while Dontayvion Wicks was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles.

That leaves Reed, Christian Watson and 2025 first-rounder Matthew Golden as the leading options at the position, with tight end Tucker Kraft also playing a prominent role as he returns from a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
