Quarterback Jaxson Dart has been in the building with new Giants head coach John Harbaugh for over a month now.

Quarterback Jaxson Dart is already fully bought into the vision of new Giants head coach John Harbaugh, and he couldn't be more excited about it.

Dart has been working with Harbaugh for over a month now, and the young signal-caller is soaking up every bit of the coach's intensity. According to Dart, Harbaugh has been setting the tone for the 2026 season by preaching one clear message: the Giants are going to be a physical, violent team on every down.

"That's the style he wants us to play at," Dart told ESPN's Jordan Raanan this week. "He has the right guys here for it, and I just think that what he wants to do is what everybody on this team wants to be about. We're hungry to win, and I couldn't think of a better coach to play for."

Dart's enthusiasm for the new regime is matched only by his anticipation for a fully healthy offense. After key playmakers like wide receiver Malik Nabers and running back Cam Skattebo were sidelined late last season, Dart is eager to see what the unit can do with everyone back on the field.

"I just think we're very versatile. I think it starts there," Dart said of the offense, which will be coordinated by Matt Nagy. "And then the other thing is, I just can't wait for all my boys to be back healthy. I'm excited for the pieces we've brought in. They're going to help us a ton. And we're just going to be a physical, violent team. That goes on the offensive side of the ball, defensive side of the ball, and special teams."

As a rookie in 2025, Dart showed plenty of promise, appearing in 14 games with 12 starts. He completed 63.7 percent of his passes for 2,272 yards, 15 touchdowns, and just five interceptions. He also made an impact with his legs, rushing for 487 yards and nine touchdowns.

With a coach like Harbaugh leading the way and a healthy supporting cast around him, Dart is poised to take a big leap in Year 2. For Giants fans, that's a reason to be optimistic—and for anyone who loves the game, it's a reminder that football is built on toughness, trust, and the right leadership.
