Heading into the 2026 NFL Draft, many believed that the Minnesota Vikings would look to bring in some depth at wide receiver. The departure of Jalen Nailor leaves 2025 third-round pick Tai Felton as the WR3, but having guys who can help support is always the right move. Minnesota would leave the draft with no receivers drafted, but there might be a good reason for that.

ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that former San Francisco 49er Jauan Jennings is set to visit with the Vikings yesterday and today. The former seventh-round pick out of Tennessee carved out a stellar role for himself in San Francisco, totaling 132 receptions for 1,618 yards and 15 touchdowns over the last two seasons, with nine of those coming last season.

Jennings would bring a level of gritty toughness to the room, a solid run blocker who works well over the middle and with sure hands. The trio of Jennings, Justin Jefferson, and Jordan Addison would immediately elevate this wide receiver room to one of the best in the conference, and with competent quarterback play in 2026, could see this offense revert back to its form.
