Jake Paul is pushing hard for an MMA fight with Nate Diaz, and it could end up on one of the next MVP MMA cards streaming on Netflix. Paul has already brought major fights to the platform, facing Mike Tyson and Anthony Joshua, with his bout against Tyson reportedly pulling in around 125 million viewers.

The buzz for a Jake Paul vs. Nate Diaz MMA rematch is growing louder, and the fight could find a massive new home on Netflix. Following their 2023 boxing match, which Paul won, both fighters have expressed interest in a sequel under mixed martial arts rules.

Jake Paul is already a proven draw for the streaming giant, having headlined the platform's inaugural sporting event against Mike Tyson—a bout that reportedly attracted a staggering 125 million viewers—and later facing Anthony Joshua. Now, Paul's promotion, MVP, is launching its first MMA card on Netflix, headlined by Ronda Rousey's return against Gina Carano, setting the stage for even bigger fights.

This move aligns perfectly with Netflix's strategy of securing major, must-see events. After successfully streaming Paul-Tyson, Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 3, and Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford, the platform is now expanding into regular boxing coverage and sees a significant opportunity in MMA.

According to MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian, the landscape is ripe for disruption. "Unlike boxing, which has numerous major promoters, the MMA space is wide open behind the UFC," Bidarian stated. He sees the upcoming MVP MMA event as a potential launching pad for a regular series on Netflix, with a Paul-Diaz rematch being a prime candidate to headline a future card.

The ball is currently in Nate Diaz's court. Bidarian noted that Diaz recently called Paul out for an MMA fight, but the response from "The Problem Child" will likely be for Diaz to first secure a win over bare-knuckle star Mike Perry under the MVP banner. As both sides posture and Netflix looks to solidify its place in combat sports, the momentum for this highly anticipated crossover rematch continues to build.
