It's official: four-star offensive lineman Jake Hildebrand is taking his talents to the 2027 Navy All-American Bowl. The Basha High School standout from Chandler, Arizona, has accepted his invitation to one of high school football's most prestigious events.
Hildebrand will suit up for the annual East vs. West showdown on Saturday, January 9, 2027, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The game, which tips off at 1:00 PM ET, will be broadcast live on NBC—putting this rising star in the national spotlight alongside the country's top 100 high school players.
"So honored and grateful to be invited to play in the 2027 Navy ALL-AMERICAN Bowl Game," Hildebrand shared on social media. "I feel so blessed to be picked for this experience and compete with the top players in the nation."
Hildebrand earned his spot through a selection committee that includes the All-American Bowl, 247Sports' Andrew Ivins, Rivals' Brandon Huffman, and NXGN. As a Navy All-American, he's now in the running for several major honors, including the Player of the Year Award, the Anthony Muñoz Lineman of the Year Award, and the Game MVP Award.
Only 100 players each year earn the right to wear the Navy All-American Bowl jersey—a badge of honor that has historically produced 665 NFL draft picks, 110 Pro Bowl selections, and countless college stars. With more than four million TV viewers and 25,000 fans packing the Alamodome annually, this event is the most-watched and most-talked-about high school all-star game in the nation.
The 2026 edition of the Navy All-American Bowl will also air live on NBC and Peacock, setting the stage for Hildebrand's big moment the following year. For now, the big man from Basha High is ready to represent his school, his state, and his future on the biggest stage high school football has to offer.
