The Las Vegas Raiders are holding their first voluntary minicamp of the Klint Kubiak era and the new coach apparently is already challenging his new squad.
In first-day photos of the camp from the team, via Las Vegas reporter Nick Walters, it appears players began to practice with the Raiders’ famous shield logo on their helmet. Thus, it appears that Kubiak is making his players earn the shield on their helmet.

Earlier this month, Raiders’ players said Kubiak’s early message to the team is to “ride for the brand.” Thus, Kubiak wants his team’s identity to be high-effort, team-first commitment that that boots the identity of the team’s brand and shield.
All new coach’s have their approach’s and by these accounts, it seems like Kubiak is spending his early days with his team, to establish pride in the franchise and what it represents.
