Fever fans, you can breathe a sigh of relief. Caitlin Clark is expected to suit up tonight when the Indiana Fever take on the Nigerian National Team in their final preseason matchup of 2026.

There was a brief scare during the Fever's April 30 preseason game when Clark appeared to be laboring after a hard foul on a 3-point attempt in the third quarter. However, the rookie sensation quickly put any concerns to rest.

"I feel good. I just landed on my kneecap really hard," Clark said in her postgame media availability. She also praised the officiating crew for their handling of the physical play, noting that the referees did a "great job" calling fouls early in the preseason—something she expects to tighten up as the regular season approaches.

Fever head coach Stephanie White confirmed that Clark's early exit was always part of the game plan. "We had planned for her to come out about that time anyway," White explained. "It was just an extra precaution getting her out in that moment, but the plan was for her to start the third quarter and then get her out quickly."

With Clark not appearing on the Fever's official injury report, fans can expect to see her full allotment of minutes tonight. The only two players listed are guards Lexie Hull (hamstring) and Justine Pissott (lower leg), both of whom are ruled out.

On a positive note, forward Aliyah Boston and guard Ty Harris are expected to be back in the lineup after missing the previous two preseason games. Their return adds some serious depth to a Fever squad that's looking to build chemistry before the regular season tips off.

Tip-off is set for tonight, and all eyes will be on Clark as she continues to adjust to the professional game. If her preseason performances are any indication, basketball fans are in for a treat.
