IPL 2026: Cameron Green declares himself '100% ready' to bowl four overs for KKR

Cameron Green is fully fit and ready to bowl his complete quota of overs for Kolkata Knight Riders, bolstering their strong comeback in IPL 2026. He expressed no pressure from his hefty price tag, highlighting the team's balanced bowling attack and support from management. KKR secured their fourth consecutive win, moving up the standings.

Cameron Green has declared himself "100% ready" to bowl his full four-over quota for Kolkata Knight Riders, as the defending champions surge back into IPL 2026 contention. The Australian all-rounder's fitness boost comes at a crucial time for KKR, who have now won four consecutive matches after a disastrous start to the season.

KKR's latest triumph came against Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, where Finn Allen smashed a sensational unbeaten century to lead his side to an eight-wicket victory. Green contributed a useful 33 runs and claimed the wicket of Nitish Rana in his lone over, but it's his bowling readiness that has fans and teammates buzzing.

After beginning the season with six straight losses, KKR have staged a remarkable turnaround, climbing to seventh place on the points table and breathing new life into their playoff hopes. Green's return to full bowling fitness adds another weapon to a lineup that's suddenly firing on all cylinders.

"I'm 100% ready to bowl four overs," Green confirmed in the post-match press conference. "The makeup of our team really helps. We have Anukul Roy, who has been exceptional, bowling one or two overs. That means I can bowl two or three overs, which has been a big help."

The all-rounder, who was managed carefully earlier in the tournament due to a lower-back injury, highlighted how KKR's balanced attack gives them flexibility throughout the innings. "Having a left-arm all-rounder to bowl through the middle means I can bowl in the powerplay, at the death, or through the middle. We've got six guys we can go to, and Anukul and I help each other out with our overs."

Green was one of the most expensive signings in IPL 2026 auction history, with KKR splashing ₹25.20 crore to secure his services. But the 26-year-old insists the hefty price tag hasn't weighed him down. "I've never felt any pressure from the guys in the team or the coaching staff. They've been excellent about it."

With Green now fully fit and KKR's momentum building, the defending champions are looking increasingly dangerous as they chase a playoff spot. For fans watching at home or in the stands, Green's all-round availability could be the missing piece that takes this team from comeback story to title contenders once again.
