Iowa has reportedly locked in another transfer portal visitor for next weekend.
Per Sam Kayser of League Ready, Iowa basketball will host Illinois State transfer portal guard Ty'Reek Coleman next weekend. According to Kayser, Coleman has visits lined up to Kansas State through Monday, to Nebraska next Tuesday and Wednesday, to Utah State on Thursday and Friday and then to Iowa next weekend.
A 6-foot-2 guard out of Aurora, Ill., Coleman averaged 10 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game on 50.4% field goal shooting, 41.6% 3-point shooting and 70.2% from the free-throw line during his freshman season. The Waubonsie Valley product played in 35 games and started 19 games with the Redbirds last season.

Coleman and Illinois State advanced to the NIT semifinals, where they fell to the eventual NIT champion Auburn Tigers. Coleman scored 17 points and knocked down a trio of 3-pointers against Auburn.
One other item that Ben McCollum and Iowa might really like is the idea of getting Coleman into the program as a sophomore with three seasons of eligibility remaining.
