When a coach gets fired in Major League Baseball, it typically raises questions about players' involvement in the organization. For the Boston Red Sox, a relatively young team with some veteran talent, it would have made sense for the front office to come to guys like Garrett Crochet, Roman Anthony, and maybe one or two other players to see how they felt.

However, according to the latest report, players in Boston apparently had no involvement and were not invited to speak with higher-ups in the organization about the situation.

"Players were not invited to ask the bosses questions about Alex Cora's firing and the situation,’ Tim Healey of the Boston Globe wrote.

At the end of the day, the players can only go out there and play, just like the coaches can only go out there and coach.

The harsh reality of Major League Baseball nowadays is that nobody really has a say in these moments except the ownership groups.

Players can get upset about it, just as many Red Sox players were, but if they're still upset, they should probably look in the mirror and start playing better.
