It doesn't seem like the injury has brought down Acuña's spirits.

Even a hamstring strain can't slow down Ronald Acuña Jr.'s sense of humor. The Atlanta Braves star outfielder, sidelined with a left hamstring injury that's expected to keep him out for a couple of weeks, found a creative way to stay involved during Sunday's game against the Colorado Rockies—by turning the dugout into his personal comedy stage.

With the Braves off to a blazing start in the 2026 season, Acuña's absence could have been a downer. Instead, he kept the energy high with a classic prank on teammate Ozzie Albies. During the game, the Braves broadcast caught Acuña sneaking dirt into Albies' glove while the second baseman was at the plate. When Albies returned to grab his glove for the next inning, he was left utterly baffled by the unexpected payload.

The pranks didn't stop there. Earlier in the game, Acuña had also filled Albies' glove with sunflower seeds, turning the equipment into a snack stash. It's the kind of lighthearted mischief that shows the team's chemistry remains strong, even with a key player on the mend.

Despite the dugout distractions, the Braves kept their focus on the field, completing a sweep of the Rockies with an 11-6 victory. For now, Albies might want to keep his glove on lockdown—Acuña's prank streak shows no signs of slowing down.
