"Initially, the thought was being able to build a house that I would want to live in when I'm done playing and have some land for my kids," Randle explained. "I want to have a family compound-type thing. All our family lives in Dallas. We have everybody around each other."

His wife, Kendra Randle, revealed to Andscape that the family hopes to finalize a development plan by the end of the summer, with construction projected to take about two and a half years. For now, Randle is taking a patient approach to the project. "So, it's kind of just like land bank. I'm not in a rush to do anything," he said. "I kind of just want to see how the area grows. I'm actually trying to buy some more over here."
