The Indiana Fever capped their 2026 WNBA Draft by adding a proven scorer, selecting Alabama guard Jessica Timmons with the 40th overall pick in the third round.

Timmons, a 5'9" guard, arrives in Indiana after a standout senior season where she was the heart of the Crimson Tide. She averaged an impressive 16.3 points and 4.5 rebounds per game, showcasing an efficient shooting touch at 43% from the field and 39% from beyond the arc. Her leadership was instrumental in guiding Alabama to a 24-11 record and a No. 6 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Her selection rounds out a strategic draft class for the Fever, who earlier secured South Carolina's dynamic guard Raven Johnson at No. 10 and versatile wing Justine Pissott at No. 25. This trio significantly bolsters Indiana's perimeter depth and offensive options.

All three draftees will now turn their attention to training camp, which opens Sunday. They'll be competing for a coveted spot on the final 12-player roster or a place on the team's developmental squad, adding a fresh wave of talent to a Fever team looking to build on its core.
