URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) — After three top-five finishes to end the regular season, Illinois women’s golf feels its best golf is still ahead.

The Illini, ranked 49th nationally, will travel to Glendale, California, to play in the Big Ten Championships.

“We certainly take our experiences from the season and learn from them, implement them,” said head coach Renee Slone. “We also understand every day is a brand new day and so going into it with that attitude, but utilizing everything that we have experienced to our advantage.”

Play begins at Oakmont Country Club on Friday, April 24 and continues through Sunday.
