At just 20 years old, Dylan Harper is making a name for himself on the biggest stage. Turning 20 in March, the Spurs rookie crossed the 250-minute mark in his playoff career on Tuesday—only 10 games in—and he’s already looking right at home. It’s like watching a young version of his dad out there, effortlessly getting buckets when it matters most.

“If he played for any other team in the league,” fellow Spurs rookie Carter Bryant said, “he’d be starting and probably be winning the Rookie of the Year right now. To see how he’s sacrificed and bought into his role, it’s amazing.”

That sacrifice is paying off big time. San Antonio has outscored opponents by 73 points with Harper on the floor during these playoffs, including a plus-13 in the Spurs’ dominant 126-97 Game 5 win over the Timberwolves. For a kid who’s barely old enough to buy a drink, Harper is proving that age is just a number when you’ve got the talent and the team-first mindset to match.
