Hamburger SV's hopes of keeping Luka Vušković for another season are fading fast, as the young Croatian talent is reportedly set to become a cornerstone of Tottenham Hotspur's future plans.

Currently on loan at HSV, Vušković has been turning heads with his performances in the 2. Bundesliga. But his parent club, Tottenham, is in a fight to avoid Premier League relegation with just two games left. According to reports from The Sun, Spurs are planning a major squad overhaul next season, and the 19-year-old defender is expected to be a key part of that revamped lineup.

It's not just Tottenham that have taken notice. European heavyweights like Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain are all monitoring Vušković's progress. A transfer fee of around €60 million is being floated, and his value could skyrocket even further if he impresses at the World Cup this summer.

In a clear sign of their commitment, Tottenham's sporting director Johan Lange recently made a trip to Hamburg to personally offer Vušković a significantly improved contract. For HSV fans, the writing is on the wall: their loan star is destined for bigger things, and it looks like he'll be wearing Spurs' colors when he gets there.
