Matt Boldy led the way with two goals and an assist, while Kirill Kaprizov added a goal and two assists as Minnesota overwhelmed the Stars early. Minnesota now carries momentum and confidence, while the Stars will need a quick response, particularly defensively and in net, to avoid falling into a 2–0 series hole.
