The high school baseball season is off to a blazing start in Central Indiana, and the talent on display has been nothing short of spectacular. From towering home runs to dominant pitching performances and game-changing speed on the basepaths, the first two weeks have given us plenty to celebrate. Now, it's your turn to decide who stood out the most.

IndyStar is launching our Players of the Week poll to honor these exceptional athletes. We've compiled a list of the top performers whose early-season exploits have set the standard. Read through their impressive stats and cast your vote at the bottom of this article before the poll closes Friday at noon.

Let's meet the candidates. At the plate, players are not just hitting for average—they're driving in runs and causing havoc once they get on base. Guerin Catholic's Nick Ardizzone, a Bellarmine commit, is a perfect example, batting a scorching .542 with 12 RBIs and an eye-popping 13 stolen bases. Similarly, Heritage Christian's Brayton Callahan is hitting an incredible .714 while also showcasing his two-way talent by striking out 15 batters in a single pitching appearance.

On the mound, the arms have been just as electric. Noblesville's Brady Hall has been a strikeout artist, fanning 21 batters across three appearances. Over at Mooresville, Hensley has been virtually untouchable, posting a 0.00 ERA and racking up 29 strikeouts in just two starts, including a 13-strikeout gem. These pitchers are setting the tone early and proving that dominant starting pitching is alive and well in Indiana high school baseball.

The all-around contributors are impossible to ignore. Players like Covenant Christian's Evan Sherrill (.565 avg, 15 RBIs, 6 steals) and the home school Kings' standout Kelly, who is batting .581 and also boasts a 3-0 record on the mound, are the engines of their undefeated teams. Meanwhile, Mason is putting together a video-game stat line, hitting .722 with two homers and 12 RBIs without striking out once.

These athletes represent the heart and hustle of the game. Now, review their standout performances and make your voice heard. Who deserves the title of Player of the Week? Cast your vote below and help us celebrate the best of Indiana high school baseball.
