In a major boost for the club's future, TSG Hoffenheim have secured the services of managing director for sport Andreas Schicker with a new long-term contract. The Bundesliga outfit announced the extension on Wednesday, keeping the precise length under wraps but emphasizing the commitment to continuity and growth.

Since taking the reins, Schicker has been instrumental in shaping the club's sporting direction. "Andi has set decisive impulses in recent months and driven our sporting development forward with great clarity and consistency," praised club shareholder Dietmar Hopp. "Even during challenging times as sole managing director, he kept us on track. This extension guarantees stability and our shared ambitions."

In a strategic move to bolster the club's off-pitch operations, Hoffenheim also confirmed that Daniel Förderer will step in as the second managing director. Förderer will oversee the commercial side, including marketing, sales, and digital operations, bringing a fresh wave of economic expertise to the boardroom.

"With Daniel, we are deliberately bringing economic expertise into the management to further professionalize our structures," explained chairman André Kreuzwieser. "His strength lies in making organizations more efficient in a sustainable way, which will be a key asset for our effectiveness going forward."

This dual appointment signals a new chapter for Hoffenheim, blending on-field ambition with off-field professionalism. For fans and followers of the Bundesliga, this move underscores the club's determination to build a stable foundation for long-term success—a mindset that resonates well beyond the pitch and into the very fabric of German football culture.
