The Chicago Bears haven't really addressed any of their biggest needs at the 2026 NFL Draft, outside of safety with Dillon Thieneman. Most people agreed that edge rusher, interior defensive lineman, and left tackle were the most important targets coming in.
With that 89th overall pick, the Bears selected WR Zavion Thomas out of LSU. With the departure of DJ Moore, who was traded to the Buffalo Bills, this pick makes a little bit more sense, but Chicago still had a decent room for that position before the pick of Thomas. They have to believe that he is going to come in and be great for quarterback Caleb Williams in the passing game.
LSU has certainly pumped out some incredible players at the receiver position over the years, and the Bears now hope to see Thomas become the next in a long line of them. Check out some of his best highlights:
